These terms apply to anyone booking or using services from Toni Ann Martin, trading as Free to Be SHE™, including the Programme, Retreats, One-to-One Coaching, Therapies and Wellbeing, Speaking, and Free to Be SHE™ CIC. By booking any service, you agree to these terms.
Free to Be SHE™ provides personal development education, coaching, holistic therapies, and community wellbeing support. It is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or the Samaritans (116 123) rather than relying on any of our services.
We don't guarantee specific outcomes. What you get from the programme, retreat, coaching, or therapies depends on your own engagement and circumstances.
Our services are for adults aged 18 and over. For retreats and any service involving physical activity (excursions, boat trips, breathwork, physical therapies), you must tell us about any medical condition, injury, or circumstance that could affect your safety, and obtain your doctor's clearance where reasonably advisable. You take part in physical activities at your own risk, and we strongly recommend appropriate travel and medical insurance for the retreat.
Statutory 14-day cooling-off period: for all programmes, retreats and coaching booked online, by telephone or away from our premises, you normally have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking without giving a reason, unless you've expressly asked us to begin providing the service sooner and acknowledged what that means for your cancellation rights. This sits alongside, and does not replace, the specific terms below.
Self-Paced Journey: because you receive immediate access to the full course content, your right to a 14-day cooling-off period ends as soon as you begin accessing the material and have expressly agreed to that. If you haven't yet logged in or downloaded any content, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Full terms: Self-Paced Course Cancellation, Digital Content and Access Terms.
Guided Group Experience: this programme has its own detailed Cancellation, Withdrawal and Refund Terms, covering the cooling-off period, cancellation before and after the programme begins, instalment plans, missed sessions, cohort transfers and more. In summary: cancelling more than 14 days before your cohort starts is refundable, less the fair value of anything already supplied; cancelling closer to the start date or after it has begun is considered fairly case by case, and is not an automatic full refund.
3-Day Immersive Programme: a 50% deposit secures your place, with the balance due 30 days before the immersive begins. Cancellation is assessed on a fair, sliding scale depending on notice given. Full terms: 3-Day Immersive Booking, Cancellation and Transfer Terms.
One-to-One Coaching: individual sessions may be rescheduled free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice; less notice may result in that session being forfeited. Coaching packages are non-refundable once the first session has taken place, though remaining sessions in a package remain valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place. The remaining balance is due before the retreat, as confirmed at the time of booking. If you cancel more than 60 days before the retreat start date, 50% of the amount paid (excluding the deposit) will be refunded. If you cancel within 60 days of the retreat, no refund is available, unless your place can be resold to another woman on the waiting list, in which case a refund may be given at our discretion. If we need to postpone or cancel the retreat because the minimum number of guests isn't reached, you may choose a full refund of amounts paid or a transfer to a future retreat date. Full terms: Retreat Booking, Cancellation and Transfer Terms.
As already stated on the Therapies page: please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged at the full treatment price.
If we need to cancel or reschedule any service, you'll be offered a fair refund for anything not yet supplied, or a suitable alternative such as a replacement session, a different facilitator, or a transfer to a future date — you will not be required to accept a materially different replacement.
What you share with Toni Ann during coaching, therapy, or the programme is treated as confidential, except where we believe there is a genuine risk of harm to you or someone else, in which case we may need to act on that information, including contacting emergency services.
Participants in Free to Be SHE (NW) CIC programmes may be experiencing exhaustion, overwhelm, burnout, or difficult life transitions. We take the wellbeing and safety of everyone we work with seriously.
Free to Be SHE (NW) CIC is committed to safeguarding the welfare of every adult who takes part in our programmes. Our services are educational and supportive, not clinical or emergency services, and we act within those limits — recognising concerns and connecting people with appropriate help, rather than attempting to provide it ourselves.
If, during a session, application, or conversation, you disclose that you or someone else may be at risk of harm, we will take that seriously. Depending on the level of risk, this may mean:
We will always aim to be open with you about what we're doing and why, except where doing so would itself increase risk to you or someone else.
What you share with us is kept confidential between you and the person supporting you, except where the safeguarding concerns above apply, or where we are legally required to share information (for example, with the police or a court).
Ursula Jones is our named safeguarding lead, responsible for safeguarding decisions within the CIC. She can be contacted at info@freetobeshe.com or 07834 478075. All facilitators involved in delivering CIC sessions hold a current DBS check.
